AUPAD was founded on February 2025, it is a Uttar Pradesh state-level organization working for the rights, empowerment, and inclusion of Deaf persons across Uttar Pradesh. The main aim is to ensure equal opportunities, accessibility, sign language recognition, education, employment, and full implementation of the RPwD Act 2016.

Objectives:

• Advocacy for Deaf rights and government facilities;

• Promotion of Indian Sign Language and interpreters;

• Awareness and leadership development;

• Support and coordination of district Deaf Associations;
