Conference Details
The Indian Sign Language (ISL) Conference 2025 will be held in New Delhi at the NDMC Convention Centre, the capital of India. Over the course of the two-day event, approximately 300+ deaf participants are expected to attend the conference.
The programme will consist of
- Keynote plenaries to focus our thoughts and shape our discussions.
- 5+ Workshops focused on ISL history and ISL research breakthroughs.
- 3+ Panel Discussions focused on ISL Recognition / Official Language.
- 8+ Deaf leaders are scheduled to deliver insightful talks to inspire our future.
- 75th Foundation Anniversary of WFD on the Saturday Morning opening ceremony with fabulous Deaf entertainers!
- 70th Foundation Anniversary of AIFD on the Saturday Morning opening ceremony with fabulous Deaf entertainers!

Indian Sign Language Conference 2026
Indian Sign Language (ISL) Conference 2026 will be organised by the All India Federation of the Deaf (AIFD), this ISL Conference 2026 aims to strengthen Indian Sign Language, promote linguistic rights of the Deaf community, and enhance capacity building through expert sessions and training by international leaders from the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD).
This Conference will be Promoting the Indian Sign Language, Deaf empowerment, and inclusive communication through national and international collaboration.
Who can participate / Registration Fees
For Members: A total of 10 members from each State Affiliated Organisations of AIFD may participate, comprising 06 Office Members (OMs), 02 Women Members, and 02 Youth Members.
Fees for the above Members are ₹ 2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred only).
Late fees ₹ 1,000/- will be applicable after 31st January 2026.
No registration will be accepted after 28th February 2026.
For Addition Members (NAD): A total of 10 members from each State Affiliated Organisations of NAD may participate, comprising 06 Office Members, 02 Women Members, and 02 Youth Members.
Fees for the above Members are ₹ 2,500/- (Rupees Two Thousand and Five Hundred only).
Late fees ₹ 1,000/- will be applicable after 31st January 2026.
No registration will be accepted after 28th February 2026.
For Non-Members: Non-members / General Members are required to enquire and seek prior approval from AIFD regarding their participation through WhatsApp message or video call at +91 88822 80829, or by email at aifdeaf@gmail.com.
Fees for the Non-Members are ₹ 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand only).
Late fees ₹ 1,000/- will be applicable after 31st January 2026.
